Chapter 10 (part 4)> Onew's Mixed Feelings...

Minho stares at the two people in front of his house. He can't believe that EunShi was there. No wonder he didn't see her sitting besides her window when he passed by her house just then [since she usually sit there by the window]. He was about to open the gate when he saw her walks out of his house and Taemin is right behind her. He looks so happy and he can't help it but get suspicious. So, he decided to hide behind a big tree across the street, but still get a clear view of them.

He saw her patting Taemin's head and he grips his fit, jealous. The truth is , he never sees that side of her before, that soft side. She usually appears to be cold and cocky, and doesn't give a damn about other. But, he once saw her fragile side, when cried her heart out that night. He still remember her throbbing weep, and her endless-flowing tears. Now, she's standing there, a full smile on her lips, her cheeks a little red, and she looks really gentle. Thus his eyes can't move away from her...

EunShi: Then, i'll get going... hoping to see u on that festival!
Taemin: I'll come for sure!
EunShi: Ne... (smiles and walks away)
Taemin: (waves) Be careful noona! call me if u get in trouble!!

EunShi turns her head and waves back to Taemin before heading home. Satisfied, and rather relieved because she knew that Taemin will definitely hand the passes over to Ahn and Youngyoon. She can rest a bit then for today, since Onew is coming home late so she doesn't need to cook dinner tonight. "I get to sleep early then! Great!" she mouthed before plucking in her earphone and enjoy her little walk to her house..

*Choi's House...

Just as Taemin closes the door, Minho storms in with his fiery gaze. Taemin, who's quite shocked by his sudden appearance, greets him...

Taemin: Oh, hyung! u're, u're home...
Minho: (cold) Um..
Taemin: Uh... u, do u want something to drink?
Minho: (shakes head and drags his feet to the stairs) No...
Taemin: Oh, ok then... (turns to the kitchen)
Minho: (stops at the stairs) Was someone here just now?
Taemin: Huh? (looks at him)
Minho: Did anyone come here just now?
Taemin: Huh? Oh, ne... Eun noona did... waeyo?
Minho: Eun noona?
Taemin: (nods and smiles happily) Yes! Eun noona! Lee EunShi noona! u know, she's Ahn noona's best friend!
Minho: Oh... 'why is he so happy?'
Taemin: (thinks) If i'm not mistaken, she goes to the same school as u! don't u know her hyung?
Minho: Uh... (head upstairs) i don't...
Taemin: Huh? what's with him? duh... (hums) noona neomu yeppeo~

*Upstairs...

Minho slams himself on his bed, tossing his bag away and unbuttoning his shirt. He's really tired today, but that's nothing. He just can't stop thinking about her. Who? Lee EunShi of course. Lately, his head is full of nothing but her. He just can't get her out of his mind. He doesn't knows why, but his feeling for her grow stronger and stronger each day. It's just her that he wanted to see. It's just her voice that he wanted to hear. Everything.

He rolls over the edge of his bed, and slides down, leaning against the bed. He let his head to the back, on the bed, gazing at the ceiling. And, guess what? He sees her. Yes, he see her image on the ceiling. She's looking at him, with a smile on her face that he never sees before. He smiles back, only to see her facial expression change. He frowns as her image start to resemble her face when she cried in front of him before. Not wanting to see that painful face of hers, he closes his eyes, then open it again, and now only the white ceiling is above him. He sighs and looks away...

"I'm going crazy.. really crazy... because of her..."

*SM High, Student Council's Office...

Onew: Have u done checking the files, Kim Kibum?
Kibum: Uh, yes sunbae.
Onew: (stares) What do u think about it?
Kibum: Well, i must say that our school's discipline is really great. Plus our grades have really stepped up since the last two years... (thinks)
Onew: (nods) Have u find the answer behind it then?
Kibum: (smiles confidently) Yes. This school starts changing when the new director took over this school, that is, Mr. Lee. After that, he changed all the school's rules and management, or in another word, changing the school label. He separated the students according to years, and built more blocks, but managed to fully finished the school in one year of renovation. The new system for the entrance exam proved to be really efficient as the number of honored students in this school consists almost three quarter of the students. Scholarships are given to the most excellent students and student in need. The amount of scholarship is different for every student as their results are observed before the money was given to them. This encouraged them to improve their studies as extra bonuses are given. To cut it short, this new school is the image of the best school in our country...

Kibum let out a relief breathe as he finished his words. Tough, he must say. Onew is nothing less than what people have said about him. When he's serious, he's really strict. He pays attention to every little detail and is really keen about those stuff. He was asked by Onew to study the charts of their school, as each member of the council do. He was in a trial period, because Onew said he need to make sure that applicants who apply to join the council are fully ready to join the hectic council. He usually choose the member himself, because he has the authority to do so.

Onew nodded his head and spin his chair away, letting Kibum fidgeting behind him. He give a few thought, and then turns back, still with his serious face on. He stares directly to Kibum's eyes, wanting to see the boy's courage. And he did. As Kibum stares back at him with confidence and pride. He let out a smirk before putting his hands on the table.

Onew: Kim Kibum, u're in.

Kibum stares at him with disbelief. Onew's word sound unbelievable to him.

Kibum: Se, seriously sunbae??
Onew: (nods) Yes.
Kibum: (do a little 'yes' gestures) Oh, i can't, i can't believe it... Thank u sunbae, jeongmal kamsahamnida! (stands and bows)
Onew: (nods and smiles) U're welcome. Please make sure u fulfill what u've promised ok?
Kibum: I will! i'll definitely do my best!
Onew: Great. Dismiss...
Kibum: Thank u again, sunbaenim! (bows before leaving)
Onew: Oh, Kim Kibum!
Kibum: (turns) Yes sunbae!
Onew: Drop the formal words. U can call me hyung now...

Kibum's eyes widen. He can't believe it. He knows that Onew only let people close to him to call him 'Onew', 'hyung' and 'oppa' [well only EunShi and Ahn calls him that]. And he knows how Minho casually calls him 'hyung'. He's really mad when he heard that... but now, now. He will be able to call him that too! How awesome can this be??

Onew: Please be prepared to work tomorrow and on the festival too ok?
Kibum: Yes, sun-, hyung!
Onew: (nods) Good. U can leave now. Rest well..
Kibum: Gomawo, hyung. U have a good rest urself too! Annyeong! (leaves)
Onew: Ne... if i can...

Onew shakes his head. He already informed EunShi that he'll be rather late today because of some work. But the truth is, there's no work at all. Everything s finished by the 2nd year members earlier. True, the members he has this year are the best. He only need to mouth a certain issue, and it'll be solved the very next day. Of course he got his hand wet too, but most of the job are taken care by the others. The one who's behind all this work is of course, Kim Jonghyun. That's why, he liked that boy very much. He never complaints, neither whine because of the pile of files and paperworks on his table. And he can see the quality of Jonghyun in Minho. He barely speaks, but his hands sure are fast. If he do something, he'll make sure it is perfect. That's credit for him. And because he personally like him is an extra bonus for the tall boy.

But, there's something about Kibum that attract him. His snobbish act and foul-mouth has a certain pride in it. And a lot of confident too. His words can put people to work, perfect for a leader. No wonder his sister fell for him too. He leans against his chair, thinking about the three of them. He loves his sister. Oh yes he does. He just wanted the best for her. He likes Minho, very much. He wouldn't mind handing EunShi to him. But he also starting like Kibum. Again, he wanted the best for her, but, it'll be great to have someone as loud as him next to her. Minho and EunShi are alike. Both are quite, both rather swallow their own feelings than voice it out. Unlike Kibum, who just let it all out, without caring about how others will feel. If they get together [again], they'll complement each other. But the fact that he hurt his sister before is quite unacceptable.

He has mixed feelings about them. And he can't decide which one is better for his sister... As an oppa, he need to do something!

There Onew was, battling his mind for the sake of his sister, without caring about his own feeling. The truth is, a piece of his mind is left somewhere else. By the end of the day, the problem about EunShi, Minho and Kibum was out of his league. He only think about one person, and that person is actually thinking about him too. But both of them are too stubborn to face each other. Too ego to forgive each other, even though they're dying to meet again. Will they be alright?

Chapter 10 (part 3)> Kibummie!!

*The next day, SM High, Class 1-1...

Jaejin: Ok!! let's start our drama rehearsal! everyone to the hall!!
Class: Ne!!

Everyone rushes out of the class and heads to the hall. because of Miss Son, they managed to get the permission to practice there...

Jaejin: Kibum, Minho, EunShi! don't slack ok?? u guys are the backbone of our class!! don't be so late!! (runs away)
Kibum: Uh... (slams his face on the desk)
EunShi: (stands whispers) Minho, Minho-ah...
Minho: (turns) Ne? waeyo??
Kibum: (slightly turns his head and listen)
EunShi: I need to go to the council's room... can u cover up for me?
Minho: Ah? jinjja? ok then...
EunShi: Gomawo... (smiles)
Minho: (smiles back) No problem... be careful...
EunShi: (nods and walks away)

Kibum follows EunShi's footsteps with his eyes. just as she touched the door, someone slides it open and shouts loudly...

Hyunki: Kibummie!!!
EunShi: Uh... (leans back)
Hyunki: Ah!! mianhae!!! mianhae!! (bows rapidly)
EunShi: Uh... gwenchana...
Kibum: (stands)

Minho looks at the door to see the person who shouts just then. Kibum rubs his head when he sees Hyunki bowing at EunShi who's still a little shocked from her shout just before.

EunShi: (shakes head)Ani, ani... gwenchana...
Hyunki: Uh... mian... jeongmal..
EunShi: Gwenchana... (bitter smiles)
Hyunki: (raise her head) Still, i'm sorry... uh??
EunShi: (stares) Eh? waeyo?
Hyunki: Neon... neon...
EunShi: Ye?
Hyunki: (sees Kibum and smiles) No wonder u're not out of your class yet!! yah Kibum! wae didn't u tell me she's in the same class as u?? (smirks)
Kibum: (looks away) Damn it...

Minho doesn't seems to understand what's going on. neither does EunShi. she was shouted at before, now the girl is giggling in front of her. but, she feels kinda irritated to, hearing the way the girl talks to Kibum casually. suddenly, the girl takes out something from her pocket and shows it to EunShi...

Hyunki: This is u right??
EunShi: Huh? (stares at the photo) Uh???
Hyunki: I'm right!! (laughs) luckily i managed to steal one from Kibum! anyway, u must be wondering who am i and why i have your photo right?
EunShi: Uh... ne...
Kibum: Noona!!
Hyunki: (mehrong) Well...
EunShi: Noona?
Hyunki: (smiles happily) Yup! I'm his noona! Kim Hyunki from class 3-3! u must be Lee EunShi right?? oh, i almost don't recognize u since your hair is, um, rather short now... than before... (looks at the photo) your is really long back then! (smiles)
EunShi: Uh... u know me? how come?
Kibum: (approaches) Yah! stop meddling into people's business!
Hyunki: (mehrong) Shut up! (holds EunShi's hand) oh... i've been wanting to see u ever since Kibum mention that u guys are dating!!

Minho turns his head when he hears the word 'dating'. his ears feel like its burning and his veins start to expand too...

EunShi: Uh... we...

Suddenly...

Jonghyun: EunShi~ uh, sunbae! (bows)
Hyunki: Oh? Kim Jonghyun!! (excited and blushes)
EunShi: Oppa? waeyo?
Hyunki: Oppa???
Jonghyun: Uh... Onew hyung said that u don't have to come to the council today because he's leaving early today...
EunShi: Eh?? why didn't he just called me?
Jonghyun: (raise his shoulder) U got a point there...
EunShi: (shakes head) U can just text me though oppa...
Jonghyun: (slaps his forehead) Duh! why didn't i think about it??
EunShi: U stick to the school rules so much...
Jonghyun: Aniyo... oh! (realizes something is in his hand) he asked me to hand this to Kim Kibum! that's why i come here!
Kibum: Huh? me?
Jonghyun: Yup! (gives)
Kibum: (takes the envelope) Kamsahamnida...
Hyunki: (peeks)
Jonghyun: Anyway, i shall go now.. see u later sunbae.. u guys too... (rubs EunShi's head)
EunShi: Uh... (jerks away) u're going there again huh?

Hyunki pouts a little. Jonghyun looked so fond of EunShi, and she looks fine with it too. even Kibum looks okay about it. slowly, she approaches him and peeks at the letter...

Hyunki: What's this?
Kibum: (pulls away) None of your business! just go home noona!!
Hyunki: Yah! i'm your noona ok??
Kibum: (mehrong) Um, sorry about her, EunShi...
EunShi: Uh... gwenchana... (walks to her seat) i think we should head to the hall then...
Minho: (nods) I guess so... let's go... (picks up his bag)
Kibum: Uh! i'm going too!! (rushes to get his bag)
Hyunki: (puzzled) Wait a minute!!

All three of them had their eyes on her...

Kibum: What now?
Hyunki: (to EunShi) U know Kim Jonghyun?

EunShi: Since i'm four years old... waeyo?
Hyunki: (relieved) Really? i see then... but! (to Minho) who're u??
Minho: Huh? na?
Hyunki: Yes! u!

Kibum: Noona!! enough! he's my classmate! no go home!

Kibum: (covers her mouth) U two can go first!
Minho&EunShi: Uh...
Kibum: Now!!

Both of them dash out of the classroom, leaving Kibum with his sister, Hyunki...

Hyunki: (lets go) Yah!! i haven't finish talking to them yet!!
Kibum: Uh! wae do u want to do so??
Hyunki: Of course i do!! i never talked to EunShi before!! plus, why is that tall guy need to walk with her?? why didn't u two just go together?? u guys are dating right??
Kibum: That's because we're not anymore!!
Hyunki: Huh? uh, mwo??
Kibum: I said, we're not dating anymore! now hand me that photo!!
Hyunki: But, but wae?? u said u liked her!!
Kibum: I do! but... but...
Hyunki: But what?? Kim Kibum! tell me!
Kibum: Uh! (closes his eyes) SHUT UP! (takes his bag and runs away)
Hyunki: Yah! Kim Kibum!! that kid!! (stomps her feet)

*ShioN's Mall...

Onew peeks from the back of the pillar like always. not so many customers are there today, so he get to see Ahn clearly whose sitting at the counter. she looks quite happy today too. usually, she'll look rather gloomy and moody. but, after seeing EunShi yesterday, she can even smile now. Onew is quite relieved. he's been worrying about her since their fight, but he still can't bring himself to confront her. he was taken back when EunShi scolded him the other day, but he keeps his poker face on. the truth is, he misses Ahn, so much. he sighs. how he wish he's in there with her, chatting, making fun of each other, hold her hands... he knows, it was his fault that they are in this situation. he got carried away by the thought of his ex-girlfriend. he puts his head on the pillar for a while before turning his head towards Jonghyun. it's time to go he thought. but, Jonghyun is not leaning against the pillar as he used to. he's actually peeking too. curious, Onew peeks above him [well, Jonghyun is not really tall after all :P] to see what he's looking at.

'How strange,' Onew thought. he's looking at the window of the cafe, where a girl is cleaning it. he remembers that girl from yesterday, the one EunShi is talking to before she leaves with Ahn and Taemin. it took longer than he expected. Jonghyun didn't even move an inch from where he's looking, neither he realizes Onew is standing right behind him. tired, he taps his shoulder...

Onew: How long are u going to stare at her huh?
Jonghyun: (turns) Uh! hyung! (blush)
Onew: (chuckles) I thought i was the only one...
Jonghyun: Uh... (looks away) are u done? shall we go?
Onew: Eh? u don't want to stay a little while?
Jonghyun: Ani! (holds his bag) Kaja! (walks)
Onew: Uh, yah! (follows) this guy!!

*In the cafe...

Youngyoon: Eh??
Ahn: (approaches) Yah! what's with the 'eh'?
Youngyoon: Uh! neol... ani... i thought i saw two guys running from the pillar over there... (points)
Ahn: Huh? (looks) eodi?? i don't see anyone...
Youngyoon: They just left...
Ahn: They're probably passerby... why're u so concern?
Youngyoon: Ani... i saw two heads poking from that pillar...
Ahn: Ne?? aigoo, Youngyoon-ah! what's in your head huh? (knocks)
Youngyoon: Yah! i swear!!
Ahn: Ne...ne... bbali and finish your work! our shift is almost over! (walks away)
Youngyoon: Uh... but it's true... i'm not lying... aish!

Youngyoon raise her shoulders then continues her work. but still, she's positive that she saw two guys behind that pillar. she was really sure....

*One week later, Lee's House...

EunShi slams herself on the couch. she just got back from the final rehearsal for the play. she's tired. been all day in school really tires her. slowly, she drags her feet to the kitchen and grab a glass of water. suddenly, something falls out of her pocket. she picks it up. it's actually a special ticket or a VIP pass for the school festival. been in the Student's Council, and the fact that her grandfather is the director of the school, she got the tickets for free. she was thinking about giving it to Ahn. the pass allows any visitor to enter any attraction at the festival without paying any fees. that's why it is called as 'VIP Pass'. however, Ahn has stopped coming to her house and refuse to pick up her phone [bcoz of her part time job]. determined, and as her last resort, EunShi pulls out her phone and search for a number. when she finds it, she quickly hit the 'call' button. 

Few beeps pass but no one is picking up. hating it, she quickly rushes outdoor and heads to the nearest groceries shop. without thinking, she takes as many Popsicles as she can, and then rushes to the milk section. taking any milk that cross her mind, then heads towards the counter. after paying it, she rushes to Ahn's house. only to find a locked door. she sighs and leans against the wall. she tries to call her, and her house too, but it only leads her to disappointment. suddenly...

Taemin: (jumps of his bike) Noona! 

EunShi: (startled) Oh, Taemin-ah! (smiles)

Taemin: (smiles brightly) Noona! what're u doing here?

EunShi: I came to see Ahn... but i guess she's not home...

Taemin: Eh? really?? but she didn't say she's going out...

EunShi: Really? (look at her watch) i thought she's home because she's off today right?
Taemin: (nods) Yeah! hmm... i wonder where she went...
EunShi: (bitter smile) Ah, gwenchana... here... (hands the plastic bag to him)
Taemin: (takes) Oh, what is this noona?
EunShi: I'm thinking about eating it with her, but, she's not here, so i guess it's yours then... (smiles)
Taemin: Uh? (looks) omo! so many!! (happy) are sure i can have this noona??
EunShi: (nods) Of course... but don't eat it all at one time ok? u'll get a stomach ache...
Taemin: Um!! (cheerfully)
EunShi: (sighs) Well then, i'll get going...
Taemin: Eh?? already??
EunShi: Yeah... Ahn is not home, plus u look tired, why don't u just rest? (smile)

EunShi: Geureom, najunge bogo... (walks)
Taemin: (stutters) No-, noona!
EunShi: (turns) Waeyo?
Taemin: Can, can u cook for me??
EunShi: Ne??
Taemin: (put his hand on his tummy) Nan neomu baegopa... can u cook for me? (sad face)
EunShi: Ah... (pity him) jeongmalyo?? then, ok...

EunShi: (nods) Um!
Taemin: (happy) Gomawo, noona!!
EunShi: Kids...

EunShi follows Taemin into the house and cook for him. she's not a good cook, but since she used to see and help Onew cooks, she did know a few simple but tasty dish. Taemin keeps looking at her as she cook, but since she think of him as her dongsaeng, she doesn't really bother. Taemin eats it like he hasn't eaten for days. looking at him, she starts to think about Yoonji, whose so far from her right now. even though they talked a lot, but it's really have been two years since she last saw her. and she really misses her right now...

Taemin: (looks at EunShi) Noona?
EunShi: Uh? ye? what's the matter?
Taemin: Um, u look sad... wae??
EunShi: Huh? na? aniyo... i'm fine... ah! (takes out something form her bag) i almost forgot! (gives)
Taemin: Uh? what's this? (takes) VIP pass?
EunShi: (nods) Um! my school festival is in two days time, so why don't u and Ahn come?
Taemin: Ah, can i??
EunShi: Of course! (smiles)
Taemin: (looks at the ticket) Eh, there's three?
EunShi: Oh, yeah... i was thinking about giving one to Youngyoon... since your noona works with her, do u think she can pass it to her?
Taemin: Sure! i'll let her know!
EunShi: Great! thanks Taemin-ah! oh, are u done? let me do the dishes...
Taemin: Oh? gwenchana.. i'll do it... noona must be tired from cooking right? i'll do it... (smiles)
EunShi: Jeongmal?? aigoo.. i can do it...
Taemin: Uh, uh... i'll do it!
EunShi: (sighs then rubs Taemin's head) Gomawo, Taemin-ah...

EunShi: Then... i'm going home...
Taemin: I'll walk u out!
EunShi: (nods) Okay... (smiles)

Taemin follows EunShi till the gate. he wants to walk he home, but she refuses. so, she just let him accompany her till the gate. before she leaves, she reminds him to pass the tickets to Ahn and Youngyoon. Taemin smiles and promise that he will. both of them didn't realizes that a pair of eyes are watching them. whose eyes are they??

so i guess i'll talk about something that is hugely related to us . . 

bear with me ok ? [if u don't wanna then don't read :P]

nobody's perfect .

yup , that's true . everyone makes  mistakes . .

we can't run away from that fact . . 

BUT !

we learn from our mistakes right ? 

n we don't repeat it . . 

so , if u want to change yourself , wouldn't it be better if u look in the mirror n ask yourself :

"what did i do before ?" , "why am i like this? " 

or something like that ? 

or maybe , 

"why do people hate me ?" , "why don't i have any friends ?"

n so on . . 

if u're just saying that u want to change , but repeat what u've done , what's the point on saying u want to change ? ?

pointless ok ? pointless !

yes , i'm not that much of a person to say something like this , but , i know  myself more than anyone else does . 

if i know i did something wrong , i'll face that person n tell him/her that i'm wrong n apologize . . 

however , i'll never apologize if i'm sure it's not my fault . . 

plus , i won't be going around n tell people this n that to prove that i was right . . 

that's how i see myself , n i don't care how people see me . . 

b'coz , in the end , we have to stand on our own feet right ?

why do we have to rely on people when we can rely on ourselves ? ?

the point is , if u're really sorry , n want to change yourself , make some effort n CHANGE !

if u're just saying things n doesn't mean it , don't say it !

u're wasting your own precious time ! !

ok , i admit that i'm not good with people myself , n i hate a lot of things around me . . 

but still , if u don't know how to cooperate with all those things , why live ? ?

just go n rot somewhere !

if u can't take criticism , then don't critique others !

if u don't want to be judged , then don't judge others !

if u hate people talk bad about u , don't talk bad about others !

it's the same way around . . 

if u want people to be nice to u , n appreciate your existence , then treat them the same way !

by doing this , u'll find the reason to live right ?

don't go saying "oh , he/she is so _____________" n get mad when u heard them says the same thing about u !

Girl: Lee EunShi!!

EunShi startled. her conversation with Taemin is disturbed. a few customers looks at them. mad, and half embarrassed too, EunShi turns her head towards the voice. seeing the girl in front of her make her eyes widen.

EunShi: (stands) Youngyoon??
Girl: Ah!! (smiles happily) u still remember me!! (approaches and hugs her) how are u??
EunShi: (hugs back) Of course i do! (smiles) i'm fine... how about u??
Girl: I'm good too!! ah, i can't believe i met u here! first Ahn, and now, u! (excited)
EunShi: (smiles) When did u get back here?
Girl: About 2 months ago... i started working here a few weeks ago. i'm so happy when i met Ahn! but, i never seen u here before!!
EunShi: Ah...

Ahn come with their order but still wearing her scared face...

EunShi: It's because i just found out about this place...
Ahn: (looks down) Here's ur order...
Taemin: Thanks, noona...
Girl: Ah! Taeminnie! i didn't realize u're here!
Taemin: (smiles and bows his head a little)
EunShi: Uh... aren't u still working? ur manager...
Girl: Gwenchana! i've finished my shift!
EunShi: Really? why don't u join us then??

EunShi: (looks at Taemin and Jonghyun) Is that okay with u two?

The girl walks away towards the back of the cafe and disappears into a room...

EunShi: Oh, she's a friend of mine.. we're in the same class during middle school. but she transfer in the middle of third year...

Jonghyun pulls his face away from EunShi's sight. he might get caught if she keep staring at him like that. he knows that she's really good at reading people's expression. it's pretty scary sometime, but, he never get caught before, so, he's not really worried though. but still, it's better to hide it before she notices it, right?

EunShi: Yeah... of course... (turns to Taemin) do u know her?
Taemin: Um! (nods) i've come here a few times, so yeah...
EunShi: I see... is she nice to u?
Taemin: Yeah! she does... but... um... u... u...
EunShi: Hmm?
Taemin: (blushes) U're nicer... (grips his cup)
EunShi: Ne?
Taemin: I mean, noona, noona is nicer than her... ouch! hot!! (blows his hand)
EunShi: Aigoo! Taemin-ah! (pulls his hands and blows it) did u burn it??

Their eyes met, and, the whole world stops for both of them. Jonghyun doesn't move an inch and so do the girl. both of them stare at each other for quite a while until Taemin let out a cough and looks away while smirking...

*Toilet...

EunShi stares at herself in the mirror. she suddenly feels sad. treating Taemin like that makes her misses her little sister, Yoonji. she wonders why she hasn't been calling her. usually, she'll call her once in three days. but, it's been nearly two weeks since she last called her. she sighs. there's a lot of things going around her right now. she worries about Onew, about Ahn, and about her Yoonji. and also, about Kibum... suddenly...

Ahn: (taps her shoulder) Gwenchanayo??
EunShi: (shocked) Ah! neol...
Ahn: (worried face) What's the matter?
EunShi: (shakes her head and washes her hand) Nothing..
Ahn: Eun-ah... about this... (scared)
EunShi: (looks away) No wonder u've been avoiding me for a while now...
Ahn: Um... mian, mianhaeyo...
EunShi: I guess u shouldn't told your best friend when u have a problem eh? (hold her tears)

Youngyoon: (nods and blush) Nice to meet u...

EunShi looks puzzled. she never seen Jonghyun stutters like that. and she never seen Youngyoon blushes like that. a fishy feeling starts to surrounds her. and the giggling Taemin besides her strengthen her feelings...

Chapter 10 (part 1)> Busted!

*ShioN Mall, 4Minute Cafe...

EunShi and Taemin, who just arrived at the mall stands in front of the cafe where Ahn is working part time at. Eunshi, trying to hold her anger in, clasps her hand.

Taemin: Noona, here it is...
EunShi: (nods) I see... Taemin-ah, (smiles) why don't u go first? i need to go to the ladies...
Taemin: Ah? jeongmal? ok then... see ya noona... (smiles and enters)
EunShi: (nods) Ne...

EunShi step back a bit and hide behind a pillar right in front of the cafe. from there, she can see Ahn coming out from the counter to her little brother. she's still mad, but she can't deny that she looks good in her uniform. EunShi chuckles. if only Ahn had told her earlier, she wouldn't be mad like this. she let out a heavy sighs and turns her head away. her eyes caught something and widens.

There, about 10 feet away from her, where the next pillar is, standing her brother and his wing man, Jonghyun. they're so busy looking into the cafe and didn't notices her at all. she shakes her head and says "U're busted, oppa!" before smirking and grab her phone.

Onew: [phone ringing] (picks up) Uh, EunShi?
EunShi: (smirks) Oppa? neon eodireo??
Onew: Huh? Chaega yo?
EunShi: Um! eodi??
Onew: I'm...i'm... uh, (looks at Jonghyun) i'm in a bookstore!
EunShi: Huh? (smiles) really??
Onew: Uh... (stutters) ye, yes! waeyo?? (clears throat)
EunShi: Ani... (steps) just wondering what kind of bookstore is behind a pillar...
Jonghyun: (sees EunShi) Uh oh...
Onew: (puzzles look) Wae? [whisper]
EunShi: (taps Onew's shoulder) Bookstore eh??
Onew: Huh? EunShi!! (blush)
EunShi: (shakes head) I see... where's the books, oppa? (smirks)
Onew: Uh... (rubs head)
EunShi: (chuckles) Why don't u just go in??
Onew: Uh... (looks down)
Jonghyun: He's too shy!
Onew: Ya!
Jonghyun: Uh...
EunShi: Aigoo... if u just stand here, nothing is going to happen, oppa. so why don't u just be a man and confront her??
Onew: (leans against the pillar) It's easy for u to say...
EunShi: Ah yes... i'm just saying things eh? fine. Oppa, (looks at Jonghyun) want to come with me?
Jonghyun: Huh? na??
EunShi: Yup! seems like someone prefer to stand here... so why don't u come with me?
Jonghyun: Ah... but, hyung is...
EunShi: Enough is enough. let him be! (pulls his bag) come with me!
Jonghyun: Ah, ne, ne... my, my... i never seen u like this, Eun!
Onew: Yah!! Lee EunShi!!

Onew wants to chase after her but decides not to when he sees Ahn. he steps back and hides again, watching his sister drags Jonghyun to the cafe...

EunShi: (sighs) I'm tired of this...
Jonghyun: Huh? what did u say?
EunShi: No, nothing... we're here... let's just grab something to drink eh?
Jonghyun: (nods) Um, ne...

Both of them enters the cafe and caught a few eyes. it doesn't seem to bother EunShi at all since she walks in and head towards Taemin. Jonghyun just followed her and doesn't complaint...

Taemin: Ah, noona! uh? (sees Jonghyun)
EunShi: (smiles and sit) Taemin-ah... this is my sunbae, Kim Jonghyun. i met him just now... i ask him to join us... is that ok?
Taemin: Ah, really?? (stands and bows) nice to meet u, sunbaenim... please, have a seat...
Jonghyun: (nods and sits) Nice to meet u too... thank u...
EunShi: Oppa, Taemin is Ahn's dongsaeng...
Jonghyun: Oh, jeongmal??
EunShi: (nods)
Jonghyun: (smirks) I see... glad to see u, Taemin...
Taemin: Ah, ye...

Taemin feels a little uneasy and disappointed too. he thought that he'll have a nice little date with EunShi today. but now there's a dinosaur-looking guy with them. 'too bad,' he thought. suddenly...

Ahn: (carrying a tray) Eun!!
EunShi: (stares at her and give her a scary smile) Annyeong, Ahn...
Ahn: (shaking hands) Uh... an, an- annyeong...
EunShi: (pulls the menu) Have u ordered, Taemin?
Taemin: Huh? not yet... i'm waiting for u, noona...
EunShi: Oh? really?? sorry about that... then, why don't we order something? oppa, u order too...
Jonghyun&Taemin: Ne~
Ahn: (stuttering) Wh- what would, would u like to order?
EunShi: Taemin, what would like to drink? (smiles)
Taemin: (blush) Na? uh, i... i'll have the hot cocoa...
EunShi: U oppa?
Jonghyun: Huh? oh, i'll go with black coffee...
EunShi: Great! then i'll have the mocha... that's all, (looks at Ahn) u get it right?
Ahn: Ah, ye... ye... i'll be back in a minute... (rushes to the kitchen)
EunShi: Did u tell her i was coming?
Taemin: (shakes head) Nope... i didn't even mention about u... (smiles)
EunShi: (smiles and rubs his head) Good! thanks, Taemin-ah...
Taemin: (blushes and nods) Um!

Jonghyun smiles. just by looking, he knows that Taemin have some feelings for EunShi. but, he just don't know whether is a simple crush, or... something deeper than that. doesn't want to look like a lamp pole, he looks around the cafe. from the entrance, to other tables, till the counter. he nods his head when he approves that this cafe is really elegant and pretty. as his eyes travel across the store, something caught his attention. actually, it's someone, not something. he can feel his blood rushing crazily in his body. his heart beating unsteadily, and he can feels sweat on his palm and back of neck

A sudden pain in his chest grows bigger when he sees that person coming towards him. she's getting closer, and closer. and then...

Girl: Lee EunShi???

Chapter 9 (part 4)> Noona ~

EunShi walks slowly, dragging her feet across the road. it's the 2nd day she came home rather late. it's because of the play. even though she didn't really have a big role in the play, Miss Son and her classmates forces her to stay. every time Jihyun makes mistake, she'll be the one to show her how to do it right. it's like she's the one who plays the Prince's part. but, she can't say no since Miss Son is the one who made her do that. the truth is, she feels bad for Jihyun. no matter what she did, Kibum will stomps his feet and tells her to do it again. her acting is not that bad, but everything is bad when u're talking about Kibum. he's someone who really pays attention to such detail. he's never satisfied whit so-so work. he wants perfection. that's Kim The Perfect Kibum for u.

All of the sudden, she thinks about Ahn, who's really quiet lately. she wants to tell her about her school's festival. because Ahn always said that she wants to come to her school festival. then, she recalled her short encounter with Jonghyun earlier that day...

Jonghyun: (shocked) Uh! u scared me EunShi! (shakes head)
EunShi: Uh... mian, mian... what're u doing here, oppa?
Jonghyun: Hmm, your friend said u're here, that's why i come...
EunShi: Um... i, i... (rubs head)
Jonghyun: Ah, (takes something out of his pocket) this is yours right?
EunShi: Ah, my phone! (takes) gomawo oppa! jeongmal gomawo!!

Quickly, she goes through her contacts and find the number she's looking for. she hits the 'call' button and luckily, the person picks up.

Taemin, who just got on his bike, shocked when his phone rings. seeing the number on the screen, his heart skips a beat and a smile popped on his face. quickly, he picks it up...

Taemin: Noona!!
Phone: Ah, taemin-ah! glad u pick up!!
Taemin: (blush) Um... of course i'll pick it up...
Phone: Yeah... i guess so... so, where are u now, Taemin?
Taemin: Na? oh, i'm just about to go home. wae noona?
Phone: Ah, really?? mian!!

Taemin had a wide smile on his face. he's so happy. the fact that he's going on a date with EunShi noona really made him happy. he cycles happily towards the front gate when a group of girls calls him..

Girls: Taemin oppa!!! where are u going???
Taemin: (smiles) Date!!
Girls: (shocked) Mwo??? with who???
Taemin: (raise his shoulders and cycles away)
Girls: Oppa!! u can't date!! oppa!! (cries)

Taemin raise one hand and waves it without looking back. he didn't care about the girls. the only thing in his mind now is EunShi noona, who's waiting for him. still smiling, he hums while he cycles...

Taemin: Noona~ wait for Taemin...

Yoonji raise her head when she's sure that Aunt Sally is gone. slowly, she opens her laptop and open her mailbox. nothing much, she scrolls down and surf the net. she was just about to click 'off' when a chat window popped out of nowhere.

Yoonji: Ah! that startled me! who's the brat?? (looks)

Her eyes widened. it's one of her senior in her school. the truth is, it's the only Korean senior in her school. they never really talk to each other, because she's too shy to actually start a conversation. and that senior is also known because he'll never say a word first. but today, he suddenly starts a conversation with her. [well, chatting is a conversation right? :P] excited, and half-embarrassed, Yoonji replies to him and they starts chatting...

Yoonji laugh. chatting with Donghae is really fun! before, she thought that he's someone who won't make lame and stupid jokes. he appears to be serious. but, after talking to him for awhile, she finds that he's a really funny and nice. they continue to chat until he said he needs to go to help his mother. she smiles. she feels a lot better after chatting with him. now, she feels hungry. before she heads to the kitchen, she stops in front of their family portrait. with a smile, she whisper to the photo, as if they can hear it...

Chapter 9 (part 3)> "How Unlucky Am I?"

*Class 1-1...

Miss Son: Okay guys!! i've made two boxes. one for the boys and one for the girls. each of u will take one paper out of it to determine which character u're gonna be in our play! (smiles)
Suzy: Ah, but seonsaeng, what play are we doing?
Miss Son: (devious smile) After what we discuss yesterday, we're going to do Rapunzel!
Class: Ne?? Rapunzel??
Miss Son: Yup! (smiles)
Soojung: But seonsaeng, that's so cheesy...
Class: Yeah!!
Miss Son: Hey, hey! not the original version of Rapunzel...
Class: Huh?
Miss Son: (winks) Hyomin, why don't u tell the class about it?
Class: Hyomin??
Miss Son: Yup... Hyomin, bbali!
Hyomin: (shyly) Ah, ne... (stands and walks to the front of class) um, hey guys...
Suzy: Cheh. her? (looks at Soojung)
Soojung: I know! (mehrong)
Miss Son: Hyomin, please start...

Hyomin clears her throat and tries to speak. but, with all her classmates looking at her, she can't find the right words to say. Sulli, who's hoping so much, tries to encourage her to speak from her place. but, Hyomin is too nervous to say a word. the students start to mumbles and stuff, making her feels more depressed. in the end, Miss Son have to take over...

Miss Son: U can't do it?
Hyomin: Uh... (looks down) i don't think i can...
Miss Son: Aigoo... but u're the one who come out with that idea...
Hyomin: Um, seonsaeng... actually, i don't think about it alone.. Sulli and EunShi help me with it...
Miss Son: Ah, jeongmal?
Hyomin: (nods) In fact, EunShi contributes the most! (smiles)
Miss Son: Eh, really? EunShi did?

EunShi, who's sitting at the back, startled when she heard Miss Son call out her name. unknowingly, she's dragged to the front of the class...

EunShi: Uh, what's the matter?
Miss Son: (smiles) Go on... tell the class about the story...
EunShi: Huh? story? what story? (worried)
Miss Son: Oh, i know already EunShi... u're the one who come out with that idea!
EunShi: Huh? i did not! Hyomin-
Hyomin: (winks and go back to her seat)
EunShi: Hyomin!
Hyomin: (smiles)
Miss Son: Oh, don't worry! just tell them! (pushes her)
EunShi: Uh, ah... ne...

EunShi takes a deep breathe before confronting her fellow classmates. now, every eyes are on her. unlike Hyomin, she's really confident and have no problem talking in public. but still, she feels a little bit nervous with Kibum staring at her. he didn't takes his eyes of her, not even once. slowly, she opens her mouth and start telling the class about how their play are going to be. yesterday, they [her, Sulli and Hyomin] talked about the play. and, she come out with an idea to twist the story of Rapunzel. she's also the one who came out with the idea to mix the story with another fairy tale, which is Cinderella and Snow White. without her knowing it, both Sulli and Hyomin told Miss Son about it and she liked it very much! therefore, she is now stuck with the plan..

After she finishes, everyone starts to speculate about the story. even Suzy and Soojung seems to be really interested with her story. they really enjoyed the storyline and the twisted fate of the story. it's simple, but very interesting...

Miss Son: So, do u guys like it?
Class: Ne!!
Miss Son: See? i told u, u guys are gonna like it! thanks EunShi, u can sit.
EunShi: Ah, ne... (walks)
Seonhwa: That's really interesting, EunShi!
Other girls: Yes!! very interesting!
EunShi: (nods and smiles) Thanks... (sits)
Kibum: Whoa... that's really good! u're daebak, Eun-ah! (smiles)
EunShi: (ignores and look to the front)

Minho turns his head and shows EunShi a thumb up. She nodded and smiles. Kibum, who's still smiling, feels like crying. she totally ignored him. but, there's nothing he can do about it than wait and tries his best. hurt, he turns his head to the front as the first line take their number from the boxes. after all of them have took their numbers, Miss Son call out the number for each character. he looked to the number in his hand. he got the number 7. uninterested, he sighs and wait until Miss Son call out his number...

Miss Son: Ok! this is the interesting part... who got number 7?
Kibum: Ah, me. me! (raise his hand)
Miss Son: U, Kibum??
Kibum: Ah, ne...
Miss Son: (smiles happily) Congratulations! u're the Rapunzel!
Kibum: Mwo?? (stands)
Class: (claps and cheer)
Kibum: But, but... seonsaeng! how can i be the Rapunzel?? i'm a guy!!
Miss Son: Aigoo... (laughs) U didn't pays attention just now eh? as u can see, since we're doing a twist, i thought i'll twist the character too! the girls are going to play the male parts, and vice versa! so, u're the princess, Kibum!!
Class: Yeay!!
Suzy&Soojung: Gyaaa!! so great!
Boys: He'll sure look pretty being a princess!
Kibum: Andwae! Sirheo!
Miss Son: Sorry Kibum. but u're the one who pulled out that number! (winks)
Kibum: (sits and bums his head on the table) This is not happening... (whimper)

EunShi, who's right next to him, can't help it but giggles. she can't imagine how he'll look in a dress and long hair. just thinking about it makes her laugh. seeing her giggling like that, Kibum takes the chance to talk to her.

Kibum: Joahae?? (pouts)
EunShi: (covers her mouth but nodded too)
Kibum: Uh... but since u like it... i'll like it too! (smiles)
EunShi: (stop giggling and look away)
Kibum: (smirks and talk to himself) I'll make u laugh your heart out, princess...
Miss Son: Ok! let's continue! who got number 10?
Minho: (raise hand) Me..
Miss Son: U?? (laughs)
Minho: (puzzled face) Ne... wae?
Miss Son: (still laughing) Chulkahae, Minho-ah... u're going to be the witch! (laugh again)
Kibum: Witch?? (laughs)

Everyone in the class laughs their lungs out. they can't imagine how Minho will look like in a black coat and tall hat. plus, the witch is going to be one of the most interesting character! Minho, who can't believe what he just heard turns his head to EunShi, trying to get an explanation from her. but, unfortunately, EunShi is covering her mouth too,  trying not to let out her laugh. depressed, he bums his head on the table too, just like Kibum...

Miss Son: Aigoo, aigoo... this is going to be really interesting... ke3... anyway... let's move on! ah, here's another interesting character! who got number 19? for the girls??

Silence. no one raise a hand. all the student starts looking around. Kibum looks to his left, to EunShi. wondering if she's the one with that number.

Kibum: (whisper) U?

EunShi shakes her head and show him her number. she got the number 20. suddenly, a girl, who's sitting on the right side of Kibum, raise her hand. it was a girl with a large spectacles and with her bang covering almost half of her face. she's the loner of the class. who's anyone barely notices her. since she's sitting next to the most interesting group of three in the class, she was left out. and her name is Kang Ji Hyun [Sistar's Soyu].

Miss Son: Ah, it's Jihyun right?
Jihyun: (nods) Ne...
Miss Son: Um, ah... chulkahae! (smiles) u're the Prince Charming. Prince Stefan! (smiles again)

Everyone in the class starts whispering to one another. the truth is, no one has really talked to her. and she barely opens her mouth. even the teachers didn't really notices her, since Kibum, EunShi and Minho are often being spotted. uneasy with everyone staring and whisper to one another about her, she stands, but still with her head looking down.

Jihyun: (low voice) Um, seonsaengnim...
Miss Son: Ne? what is it?
Jihyun: Can i give my role to Lee EunShi? i think it suits her better...
EunShi: Huh? na?
Suzy: (low voice) I don't like her, but still, i think she suit that role better than that weirdo...

Kibum is disappointed. he wished that she'll be prince. then they might get along. because the hero and heroine always got together right? but now, he's stuck with the weirdo next to him. even he doesn't notices her. actually, this is the first time he realizes that a girl is sitting on his right. well, he never pays attention to his right since EunShi is on his left side. so, no. he never notices this girl Jihyun. he sighs again and says to himself..

Sulli: It was really fun!
Hyomin: Yeah! i can't wait to start practicing!

EunShi and Sulli looks to where Hyomin points. it's Jihyun. holding her tray in the middle of the cafe, trying to find an empty table. but there's none of them! the cafeteria is full that day. probably because today is the favourite day of all the students. because they served steak on Wednesday.

Hyomin: Aww, there's no table for her to sit!
Sulli: Um! poor her...
EunShi: (stares at the empty chair next to her) Shall we ask her to join us?
Hyomin&Sulli: Huh? but...
EunShi: Wae? u guys don't like it?
Hyomin: Ah, ani... it's just that... will u be comfortable?
EunShi: Eh? na? what's wrong with me?
Sulli: Um, well, can u mix around with her? it's hard enough for u to be with us...
EunShi: (shakes head) Just what are u guys talking about? (chuckles) i'm fine... call her... (smiles)

Jihyun turns her head to them. hesitantly, she walks towards them...

Jihyun: Um... ne?
Hyomin: Come! sit with us. we still have another empty seat!
Sulli: Yes! Anja! (smiles)
Jihyun: (hesitate) But, but... (glances at EunShi)
EunShi: (put her fork down) Sit down... there's no empty table after all... (smiles)
Jihyun: Can i really??
EunShi: (nods) Anja...
Jihyun: (shyly) Ah, ne... gomawo...
Sulli&Hyomin: No problem! (smiles)
Jihyun: (looks at EunShi) Gomawo...
EunShi: (smiles) Eat up... u guys too!
Sulli&Hyomin: (nods) Um! Thanks for the food!
Jihyun: Ah, (copies them) thanks, for the food...
EunShi: Thanks for the food... (smiles and start eating)

Sulli and Hyomin chat while they eat their food. EunShi, who prefers to listen, concentrate on her food. while Jihyun, who's not feeling really comfortable being next to her, eats her food slowly. suddenly...

Kibum: (rushes to EunShi) Ah, so here u are!! (pant)
EunShi: Huh? (looks at him)
Kibum: I thought u're somewhere else... (take a deep breathe) here... (puts a bottle of milk in front of her) u didn't drink the strawberry milk yesterday, (pant) so i thought i'll buy u a plain one today... (pant)
EunShi: (sighs)
Kibum: Then.. (smiles) enjoy, (pant) enjoy your food! i'll see u in the class! (pant) drink it ok? bye!! (runs)
EunShi: (put down her fork and shakes her head)
Sulli: He really cares about u... lucky!!
Hyomin: (nods) Yeah!! he really likes u!!
EunShi: Uh... eat up! (looks away)
Sulli: Aigoo... are u embarrassed? (teases)
Hyomin: (giggles) She might burst into flame soon! (laughs)
EunShi: (shakes) Enough, enough... eat up... (picks up her fork back)

Sulli and Hyomin continues to tease her. while Jihyun, who's sitting next to her, quietly, holds her fork and knife as if she wants to break them into pieces. she grits her teeth and glares at her plate. but none of those three realizes that she's shaking mad. until it was time to go home, she still glares at EunShi with her fists on both hands.
